Names suggesting a connection with a government or public authority and some sensitive words and expressions cannot be used in the name for an ADGM company without express approval from the ADGM Registrar.
Sensitive words and expressions
The approval of the Registrar is required for a company to be registered by a name that includes one of the following words or expressions (or a plural form of any of the below):

Names suggesting a connection with government or public authority
The approval of the Registrar is required for a company to be registered with a name that would be likely to give the impression that the company is connected with a government or public authority. Therefore the following words should be avoided in a company name:
Financial Regulator,
the Registrar,
Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates,
Insurance Authority of the United Arab Emirates,
Emirates Securities and Commodities Authority,
Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi,
Abu Dhabi Municipality,
Abu Dhabi Global Market,

Abu Dhabi Global Market Financial Services Regulations Authority,
ADGM,
ADGM Registration Authority,
ADGM Financial Services Authority,
ADGM RA,
ADGM FSRA.
