All ADGM entities are required to comply with ADGM Naming Convention and rules which prohibits ADGM entities from adopting a company name that is misleading or uses a restricted word (for example, ADGM, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, UAE). When an applicant proposes a company name without a clear meaning or that includes an acronym, ADGM expects the business plan to include a explanation of the name to ensure that the Naming Rules are not being infringed.
