An option gives the team member the right to buy shares in your company at a very low price. Team members of your company may have been granted options in exchange for the time and effort they put in to growing your company.
For this tool, enter any outstanding options that have been granted to team members through Grant Agreements. Be sure not to double-count any options that have been converted to shares.
For example, if an Employee had received an option grant of 25,000 options and had exercised 10,000 of those options, for this tool, you would enter in one share position of 10,000 shares and one option grant of 15,000 (the remaining outstanding options that the employee has).
