There is no restriction under ADGM regulations for the SPV to own interests in foreign assets.
However, before proceeding with the set up we highly recommend that you confirm with the registration authority of the Foreign company on their policy of Corporate Ownership and Foreign Corporate Ownership. There may be documentation requirements to connect the ADGM SPV with the foreign company and the cost and timeline to arrange these documents should be considered.
